The test objects are illuminated indirectly by the reflecting the light on the white inside of the dome. The camera records the object from above through the ring opening. The object is thus illuminated with maximum diffusion from all sides. The resulting almost shadow-free illumination is ideal for compensating for surface unevenness, e.g. for error-free inspection of printing.
A sophisticated mounting concept with M5 thread and M4 through-hole offers more flexibility for mounting.
