Horizontal Ringlight
The test objects are illuminated by the lateral light emission at very flat angles. This illumination, also known as darkfield illumination, is ideal for inspecting object surfaces or edges, as the light is reflected to the camera exclusively from slanted surfaces, such as scratches or relief structures, due to the lateral illumination.
The housing of the horizontal ringlights is particularly compact and can be used optimally even in space-critical inspections. Horizontal ringlights are also widely used for barcode reading applications due to the compact housing and shadow free illumination.
