Under the heading "Experts for Module Testing" MBJ Services presented their new products at the Intersolar 2018 in Munich. With the Smart UV light a compact tool for easy detection of microcracks using the UV fluorescence is now available on the market. The big advantage of this method is that the modules need neither solar radiation as in infrared images nor a current supply as in the electroluminescent inspection. While still installed, a quick initial inventory of the modules is possible during night time.

The Mobile Lab is now available in a reduced basic version as pure LED sun simulator. The starting price for the revised system as "flash only" is under 100T€, which significantly reduces the hurdle for acquiring such a system. The Mobil lab basic is also available in a version including an additional electroluminescence inspection for less than 130T€. Further options are possible on request.
The fact that random sample testing of modules in the field is important for achieving and maintaining the desired investment return of a solar park was repeatedly made clear in the numerous discussions with our exhibition visitors. The interest in this topic was great and shows how important the topic of quality control for solar parks is.
